Displaying system tray icon in GTK using Ruby
I was experimenting with Ruby’s GTK bindings and did not find any example code for displaying a system tray icon. This could be handy for building something like an email notifier for the Gnome desktop. Below is a simple example which displays a blinking robot icon indefinitely :
